The 65th anniversary of the December 11, 1960 demonstrations, under the slogan: “People’s Uprising.”

Today, December 11, 2025, the Embassy of Algeria in Gaborone commemorated the 65th anniversary of the December 11, 1960 demonstrations, under the slogan: “People’s Uprising.”

During this historic commemoration, the national flag was raised to the sound of the national anthem,  the Fatiha was recited in memory of our glorious martyrs, and the Ambassador delivered a speech on this occasion.

Long live Algeria! May Algeria always remain free, independent, and prosperous. Glory and eternity to our noble martyrs!
