commemoration of the 72nd anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Liberation Revolution

To commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Liberation Revolution, the Embassy of Algeria in Gaborone held, on the night of 31 October, a national flag-raising ceremony at the Embassy premises, in the presence of the Ambassador and the Embassy staff.
During the ceremony, the national flag was raised to the sound of the national anthem, a recitation of Al Fatiha followed by a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs of the glorious Liberation Revolution.
On this occasion, His Excellency Ambassador Mourad Boukadoum delivered an address in which he recalled the historic significance of the Revolution of 1 November 1954 and the great sacrifices made by the valiant martyrs to regain national sovereignty. He called on everyone to draw lessons from this immortal epic and to show loyalty and a sense of responsibility in fulfilling their duty towards the homeland.
Glory and eternity to our valiant martyrs. Long live Algeria!
