Minister of State Ahmed Attaf Participates in the 48th Session of the African Union Executive Council in Addis Ababa

Acting on the instructions of the President of the Republic, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, arrived on Tuesday 10 february 2026 evening in Addis Ababa to participate in the 48th session of the Executive Council of the African Union, scheduled for 11 and 12 February 2026.

This ministerial meeting, held in preparation for the African Union Summit set for 14 and 15 February 2026, will focus on a range of issues related to strengthening joint African action, particularly in addressing the political, security, and developmental challenges facing the continent.

On the sidelines of the session, the Minister of State is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with several of his African counterparts to enhance coordination and cooperation on matters of common interest.
