President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Receives the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Tuesday Mr. Paulo Rangel, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Portuguese Republic, accompanied by a high-level delegation.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs; Mr. Kamel Sidi Saïd, Adviser to the President of the Republic in charge of the General Directorate of Communication; Mr. Ammar Abba, Adviser to the President of the Republic in charge of diplomatic affairs; and Mr. Saïd Moussi, Ambassador of Algeria to Portugal.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on the current state and future prospects of the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, as well as on ways to strengthen bilateral consultation and coordination on issues of mutual interest, within the framework of the shared commitment to consolidating the Algerian-Portuguese partnership and expanding its areas of cooperation in the interest of both friendly peoples.
