The fourth edition of the African Startup Conference

Under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghareeb, inaugurated on Saturday, December 6, 2025, the fourth edition of the African Startup Conference at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center.

The conference is held under the slogan “Valorizing Entrepreneurs in Africa”, serving as a remarkable forum for sharing knowledge and experiences, and for promoting African cooperation in the fields of innovation, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship.

Algeria attaches great importance to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship across the African continent. Empowering African youth through innovative initiatives is considered a strategic priority.

Last September, the President decided to establish a funding mechanism for startups and young innovators at the African level, with the aim of supporting innovation and encouraging continental initiatives.

In this context, the President emphasized the need for this edition to be successful and instructed the government to provide all necessary support and resources. He stressed that this conference is an extension of the recommendations of the African Inter-Trade Fair, ensuring that the primary objective is to place African youth at the center of attention, through the implementation of a clear roadmap and the establishment of a lasting bridge of communication between young people across all African countries.
