The Minister of state, Ahmed Attaf takes part in Tunis in the ministerial meeting of the Libya Neighbors Mechanism

On the instructions of His Excellency the President of the Republic, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, arrived this evening in the Tunisian capital to participate in the ministerial meeting of the trilateral mechanism of Libya’s neighboring countries (Algeria–Tunisia–Egypt), scheduled to be held on January 26, 2026.

This periodic meeting falls within the framework of ongoing consultations among the three countries regarding developments in the Libyan crisis, as well as ways and prospects to support the political settlement process in this brotherly country, under the auspices of the United Nations, based on full respect for Libya’s sovereignty, territorial unity, and institutions.
